This is going to sound like me giving a speech after accepting an award at an awards show.  But there are some people I'd like to thank and acknowledge for their role in my life this past month or two.

My Momma- Thanks for all your awkward and clumsy moments that make me proud to be your daughter.  Thanks for asking me every other hour how I'm doing, hoping that I'll open up.  It may not seem like it, but I do appreciate you caring so much how I'm doing.  But, sometimes I just don't feel like talking.  I can't forget to thank you for taking on a lot of the chores that I'm supposed to do because you see that I have a bazillion pounds of homework to do.  Thanks for the smoothies, and for checking up on me before you go to bed.  I love you mommacakes.

My Poppa- Thanks for analyzing me and my personality.  You're the best at doing that and there's no one else in the world who knows me as well as you do.  You've taught me, and continue to teach me, the most important lessons in life, and have guided me through everything.  Thanks for raising me and my sister as boys, because it has helped us to become independent and to not be spoiled brats.  Thanks for taking us along on your anniversaries and dates with momma when we were kids.  Thanks for exposing me to smoking and drinking so that I wouldn't be tempted to do it with my friends.  

My Sister- Thanks for telling me the truth.  I hate you for it sometimes, but you are the only person that really gives me the hard truth, and not just what I want to hear.  You and Brian have given me hope when it comes to relationships, and I hope that you two get married and have cute little half white/half filipino kids with the light brown hair.  Then I can be an auntie and then you will never see those children again because I will have eaten them.  Thank you for not letting me dwell on things and for always giving me something to do so that I won't have to think about being sad.  That actually helps a lot.

Acme- Thank you for the year we had together, and the many memories that we shared together.  The memories are what keeps me going.  You're a wonderful person and you're going to make some girl really happy and lucky some day.  She better be good to you.

Phillip- Thank you so so much for everything.  I don't know how I would've gone through these past few days without you.  You always put things into such a romantic perspective that it gives me hope for the future.  You make me feel worthwhile and special.  You are a one in a million person and I'm so glad that you and I are friends.  You're beautiful and amazing, and I owe you so much.

Kody- You and I have been through so much together.  Even though we don't talk much anymore, I still have that connection with you where you can tell something is wrong and we can communicate without really talking much at all.  I admire your intelligence and your strength.  You make me laugh like crazy and any girl would be lucky as hell to have you.

Francis- You're such a fun person to talk to, and you just make me happy.  You're so different from most guys, and it's really refreshing to have a real conversation with someone.  You're not just a good guy, you're a wonderful guy, with a good heart and a good sense of humor.  Thanks for keeping my spirits up and listening to me whenever I had problems.  Actually, I'm sorry for bothering you with my problems.  But I hope you do find that one girl for you who makes you happy and really sees how wonderful of a guy you are.  She's out there, and I'll do everything I can to help you find her.  She better treat you well, or I'll have to kick some ass.

Theresa- I miss you like crazy and I wish we could talk more, but I want to thank you for still calling and for not allowing us to drift too far apart.

Brian- You're the best older sister's boyfriend any girl could have.  You're a great catch and thank you for not thinking of me as your girlfriend's annoying little sister, but as your own sister.  I think of you as my own brother too.  You better take care of my sister, or I'll have to kick your ass.

Elise- We've been through shit together, but you are still a very good friend and I hope everything is well with you.  You're beautiful and you deserve the best.

Benzo- You are the cutest blonde boy I've ever gone out with.  Thank you for slobbering on my tennis ball and for dropping it in your puddles of pee before making me touch it.  Thanks for trying to pee on me today and for the slobbery kisses!  I know you miss Beamer, but Beamer is off in Doggy-Heaven.  We'll find you a new lover, soon, don't worry baby.  You are the only guy who will love me unconditionally, and for that, I thank you.

I love you all like crazy and I don't know what I would do without any of you.  You've all changed my life somehow and I will never forget you.  That goes for a lot of the people who I didn't mention here, too.  Thanks a bundle!!!
